Mosaics Of A Roman Villa Were Found Under A Vineyard In Italy

An almost entirely intact Roman mosaic villa floor has been discovered just outside of Verona, Italy.

The photos were posted on May 26, 2020 by historian Myko Clelland on Twitter.

According to Clelland, the mosaics were discovered under a vineyard in Negrar di Valpolicella, a comune about 12 kilometres northwest of Verona.
